The mid Klamath River is red hot right now, the famous half pounder run is in full swing and the action is non stop. The run consist of summer and winter steelhead that range from 3 to 5 pounds. They will take any fly or bait you put in front of them and will test your hook setting and fish fighting abilities. I took Troy fishing for his birthday and he caught the largest steelhead he has ever seen. Fishing should be good through mid November so come experience one of the best kept fishing secrets in the fishing community. (Klamath Halfpounders)

Took the Neil family fish and they had one of the best steelhead fishing trips I have had the opportunity to guide. They hooked and landed fish all day and even got 2 salmon. The Klamath River is one of the best steelhead and salmon fisheries in the North West. I would love to share this under publicized phenomenon with the fishing community so if you or some one you know can find the time to come visit the mighty Klamath I will send you away looking at you calendar wondering when you can come back. Book your trip soon because the word is out and the calendars of many guides on the mid Klamath are filling up at a rate not seen in more than 5 years...
