The Klamath River Fishing is heating up, we have been boating 30 to 50 fish a day. The fish are coming in as a mixed bag, salmon and steelhead both. The combo trips this time of year are awesome, were else can you go right now and catch both species? We have been living the dream here on the Klamath River and will continue to do so for a couple of months. You still have time to check it out, give us a call today.

Its time for another Klamath River Fishing report folks. The middle section of the Klamath River is fishing like you wouldn't believe. We have got the salmon spawning and the steelhead stacked up waiting for and easy meal right below the salmon beds. We have been seeing some impressive numbers of adult steelhead and countless half-pounders. The action is non-stop and most folks have been crawling out of the boat with sore arms. We have some new guides working for us this year so if you want to see what the famous Klamath River has to offer give me a call. The fishing should be good for 2 months.

The steelhead are stacking up in the Klamath. We have been seeing alot of fish rolling around in the middle section of the river. The Klamath River steelhead season is about to get crazy. This is my favorite time of the year, we have tons of salmon and even more steelhead occupying the waterways. Lady luck was very prevalent this weekend, stay tuned for some off the HOOK fishing to come from the Klamath River.

The Klamath River fishing is on fire right now. We are seeing lots of adult and jack salmon in the middle sections of the river. The steelhead are also here and if you have never experienced a salmon steelhead combo trip on the klamath river in the fall you should add it to your bucket list. This is looking like another good start to the famous half pounder season on the Klamath River.

The Klamath River Fishing is off to a good start this fall. We have been seeing allot of fish all the way up in Happy Camp. We went 3 for 6 today on the salmon using floats and pro-cured eggs. The Steelhead are rising and the Kings jumping all over the place. This run is a few weeks ahead of schedule and with the commercial quota already meet and the subsistence season not to far behind the sport fisherman should have a great year on the Klamath River. We are booking up fast and have only a few dates left for our Klamath season so give us a call if you want to rip lips.

Mike and Terry made the journey to go steelhead fishing with us today and it ended up being a pretty good day on the river. We caught three different species of fish today; steelhead, rainbows, and a cut throat. Both my clients got the first and biggest steelhead they have ever seen today. We got fish side drifting, and pulling plugs in some pocket water. Fishing for steelhead will be steady through the month so quit looking at fish porn on the web and give us a call for a fishing trip of a lifetime.

Klamath River Fishing is still steady, we fished all week end with 3 different groups. The fish are hitting the fly's, yarn, and eggs. Klamath River Steelhead Fishing is some thing you can experience all year round. The lower river is giving up some nice big fresh fish. The bank anglers are doing good but the river is still a little high for drift boats but with the warm weather predicted this week we should see favorable conditions with in the next week or so. Give us a call if you want to hit the water.

Jim and Allen spent the weekend fishing with Ironhead Guide Service and was able to get some meat for the smoker. We hit it hard and ended up with some nice fish. We had 9 hook ups and missed allot more bites. The bites were very subtle and softer than normal, especially on day two of our adventure. Fishing for steelhead should be good through April in the Northwest so don't sit around and let your opportunity pass you by.

We will be running trips for rest of the month then Ironhead Guide Service will be moving operations up to the Rogue River. This was the first guided fishing adventure for the Spinks family and the first steelhead they caught.  The river is on the mend and as long as conditions remain we should see good fishing through April. Don't put it off any longer, get your bags packed and head for the Klamath.
