Chetco River Salmon Fishing

The Chetco River Fishing has some of the largest Chinook salmon in the state averaging 20 pounds with a possibility of landing a fish to 50 pounds. You'll see both native and hatchery salmon on the Chetco River. The salmon on the Chetco River start running after the first big rain in the fall and generally from October through November. This is one of the later salmon runs and produces some of the largest salmon on the west coast.
